Spear Removal Tool

This Spear Removal Tool is designed specifically for kegs equipped with threaded spears. Unlike standard store-bought kegs, Coldbreak Sankey D keg spears can be removed for manually cleaning and filling. 

Fits our Coldbreak threaded spear kegs: 

• 2-gallon keg
• 5-gallon keg
• 4-gallon cleaning keg

*Always depressurize your kegs prior to removing the spear.

This tool is not suitable for standard store-bought kegs or those with non-threaded spears. Ensure your keg features a threaded spear before use.

Removing the locking ring from a standard keg is very dangerous and not recommended. Standard kegs are not designed to be opened by people. They are never opened and are cleaned by machines and chemicals.
