Shipping Policy

Free Ground Shipping

Free Ground shipping applies to Coldbreak products that are shipped via standard FedEx or UPS ground within the forty-eight (48) contiguous United States, for orders under 150 pounds and with a value over $150. If you need faster service, you can purchase expedited shipping during checkout.

Coldbreak reserves the right to choose either FedEx or UPS for your shipment. Shipping times are always estimated and not guaranteed. Once your order leaves our warehouse, we have no control over delivery times.

Package Protection

Many Coldbreak products have a high retail value. It is the responsibility of the consumer to protect against package theft. We encourage our customers to ensure a safe place for UPS and FedEx to leave your packages, or have someone present at the time of delivery.

Free Ground Signature Required - This option is available at checkout and includes a small fee (paid to the shipping company) that requires someone to provide a signature at the time of delivery.

Hazmat Shipping (Dangerous Goods)

Some of our products must be shipped Hazmat, limited quantity. This means that some products can only be shipped ground, to the continental USA, and no expedited shipping options will be available when checking out.

Estimated Transit Times

Orders are generally shipped the next business day (Monday - Friday). We do our best to keep inventory accurate, but if for some reason your order cannot be fulfilled, our staff will reach out with an estimated shipping date.

All shipments leave from our warehouse in Grand Rapids, MI. The chart below will give you an estimated time for ground shipments.

Ground is 1 (pink) - 5 (purple) Business Days. Alaska and Hawaii is 6-7 business days.

Freight Service

Freight shipping is available for bulk orders or website orders over 150 pounds. We work with several different companies to get you the lowest possible shipping rate, or we can use your broker. Freight charges will be invoiced separately.

International Shipments

We do not fulfill international orders from our website. USA only.

Failed Deliveries

Below, we outline the steps taken and associated fees in the event a shipment cannot be delivered due to an incorrect address provided by the customer.

Process:

  1. Delivery Attempt: We will work with the carrier to deliver your package(s) to the address provided on the order.
  2. Delivery Failure: If the carrier encounters an issue with the address and delivery fails, a second attempt is usually made.
  3. Correct Address Provided: If the customer provides a corrected address within a reasonable timeframe, we will reship the package to the new address. The customer will be responsible for the following charges:
    • Additional Shipping Costs: The customer will be responsible for the new shipping cost to the corrected address.
    • Failed Delivery Fee: Some carriers charge a fee for failed deliveries due to incorrect addresses. This fee will be passed on to the customer.
  4. Incorrect Address Not Identified Until After Delivery Attempt:

If the incorrect address is not identified until after the package is returned to sender (us), we will contact the customer to discuss options. These options may include:

  • Customer Pays for Reshipment: The customer can choose to have the package reshipped to the correct address. They will be responsible for the additional shipping cost and the failed delivery fee.
  • Order Refund (Less Shipping): The customer can choose to receive a refund for the order amount, minus the original shipping cost and the failed delivery fee.

Important Notes:

  • No Address Changes: No address changes will be allowed after an order is placed. If you need to change a shipping address, the order will have to be canceled and placed again.
  • We take reasonable steps to verify the accuracy of the address provided by the customer during order processing. However, the ultimate responsibility for providing a correct shipping address lies with the customer.
  • We recommend that customers double-check their shipping address before submitting their order AND verifying the shipment during transit, with the tracking information provided to you at the time of shipment processing.
  • To minimize errors and ensure timely delivery, we encourage customers to register for an account on our website. This allows them to save their shipping address for future purchases.
  • A valid physical address is needed. We are unable to ship to P.O. Boxes.

Yes. You will receive a tracking number via email once your order has shipped. You can also login to your account and view your tracking number from your order history. 

We use UPS & FedEx as the primary carriers for all ground packages. Should you require faster service, Overnight (next business day to most areas) or 2-Day (2 business days to most areas) are available at an extra cost.

Orders are typically shipped out the next business day. Transit times will vary, depending on where you are located. East coast is generally 2-3 business days, West cost is 3-4 business days.

It's the same shipping method, we just pay for it if your order is above $150. The other options show up because orders that don't meet our minimum threshold for free shipping, need the standard ground options.

You'll have to pay for expedited shipping. This does not apply to any shipment option that has the word *ground* in it.

Also remember we need a day for processing your order. All orders are generally shipped out the next business day.

Some of our products contain dangerous goods (cleaners, compressed gas, etc.). Ground shipping is the preferred method for those shipments.
