This classic Hurricane recipe is a vibrant blend of light and dark rums mixed with tropical passion fruit and citrus juices. It's sweetened with grenadine and simple syrup, creating a balanced and flavorful cocktail perfect for large gatherings.

Dark Rum: 1-half gallon (64 oz)

Light Rum: 1-half gallon (64 oz)

Passion Fruit Syrup: 48 oz (6 cups)

Orange Juice: 24 oz (3 cups)

Lime Juice: 24 oz (3 cups)

Grenadine: 12 oz (1.5 cups)

Simple Syrup: 12 oz (1.5 cups)

Garnish: Orange slices and cherries for a festive look

Final Volume: 248 oz (1.9 gallons)

Notes:

  • Natural ice dilution during serving will slightly mellow the cocktail, so no additional water is needed.
