A classic whiskey cocktail with a balance of sweet and bitter.

Bourbon or Rye Whiskey: ~192 oz (1.5 gallons / 24 cups)

Simple Syrup: 24 oz (3 cups)

Angostura Bitters: 3 oz (6 tablespoons)

Garnish: Orange peel and a cherry

Final Volume: 219 oz (1.7 gallons)

Notes:

• If served neat, consider adding a small amount of cold water (10-20 oz) to mimic natural dilution.
